Just came back from my road trip. Johannesburg-Augrabies-Gharies- groenriviermond-Hondeklip baai-Strandfontein-Paternoster-West coast national park-Paarl-Bontebok nationalpark Swellendam-Wildernis-Graaf Reinet- Bloemfontein-Johannesburg.  Encountered some serious wind, sand, mud, water crossings. Out running many other cars on all the up hills on the cape mountain passes. Loaded with 5 people and pulling a heavy loaded trailer the scooby never missed a beat.
Will resize some photos and post them shortly.

Groenie you were not on R27 West Coast road on Tuesday the 24th perhaps?  I drove past a XT and it is the first time that a fellow Forester driver waved at me.
