I've watched a few reviews on the tube, and I really like it! Wish I could afford one, but maybe later.
Apparently the suspension and handling is fantastic.

I was in Joburg on Friday for the sales launch, and there is no two ways about it, it's a beautiful car.

VERY much more refined than the outgoing model, but as with the F 1 fans who are disappointed with the lack of noise this season, the "boys" are going to hate the fact that it is so quiet.

I can see big sales on the aftermarket bit, with guys buying "Sports" exhausts!

Looks wise, I can just see BMW from the rear three quarter view - the "boys" are also going to hate the small spoiler - another gap for aftermarket add ons! ;D

Yes Jacques, the manual is R 449 000 and the auto ( 8 speed CVT in S#) is R 469 000.

I was relieved as the old one was R 439 000 and I thought that we would be looking at telephone numbers!  ;)

Excited about the auto (aka cvt) 'box!
I know that it is not a real sport car (without a manual), but living in the city makes  things difficult...

I think it LOOKS good.

For me personally Subaru are slowly but surely removing the quirks and differences that set their cars apart with each new model.  Now I believe the unequal length headers are gone so no more burble? Is that on the STi as well Paul? Bit sad if so. Was it to help with efficiency / lower emissions?

correct dash, the boxer sound is missing, even with the Sports Exhaust, it's not there anymore....i had the pleasure of driving it, handlingand performance is DEFINATELY better, sound is gone.

STi luckily will still have the good old BOXER rumble.

Hi Chris - yes, possibly the only thing that will disappoint many people is the lack of noise!

No doubt our local fraternity will find a way to create a noisy version, but that remains to be seen! :-[

I'm sure Borla would have UEL headers for it soon enough.

And then bye-bye maintenance plan and warranty...

One day I may have to man up to spending half a bar on a vehicle that I enjoy driving less every day than my 6 year old banger. Just not tomorrow please.
