I always enjoy looking at fellow forum member's cars and what they have done with it.  So I would like to share some info on mine.  It's a 2006 Forester XT manual which I bought second hand in 2009 with 75000km from Subaru Centurion.
It was not long before I decided to start fiddling with things, as most Subaru owners do.  Up until now, I've done all the installs, modifications and tuning myself.

Engine and Driveline:
  • Mishimoto Radiator
  • Mishimoto Silicone Turbo Inlet, TB and BOV Hoses
  • Stock airbox with velocity stack, Intake resonator delete
  • Kinugawa TD05-20G 8cm^2 Turbocharger
  • Hybrid Boost control, GM 3-port EBCS and Grimmspeed MBC
  • 03 STI Intercooler and Y-pipe
  • H22Sean STI Intercooler Duct
  • Coolboost progressive water/meth injection with 252cc nozzle, running 100% water
  • Air Pump Delete
  • Custom Baffled Dual OCC setup
  • Deatshwerks 255lph fuel pump
  • Kartboy short shifter with front and rear stay bushings.  TIC shifter linkage and pivot bushings.
  • Wrapped 3 inch Stainless Bellmouth downpipe with UEGO wideband sensor
  • Stock midpipe
  • Hayward and Scott 2.5 inch back box
Suspension and brakes:
  • Forester Swift Sport Springs with OEM KYB Excel-G struts
  • STI 20mm rear sway bar and mounting bushings
  • Legacy GT front and rear brake upgrade, Powerbrake discs and DuraLine SS brake hoses
Exterior:
  • Forester Sports bumper
  • Forester Sports Grill
  • 02-03 STI hood scoop
  • Lightbar with Hella Comet 500 spot lights
  • Blacked-out head lights
  • Rally Armor Basic Mudflaps
Interior:
  • Centre Gauge Pod fitted with Asus Fonetab
  • AEM Wideband Gauge
Tune:
  • Opensource tuning via Romraider with Launch Control and Flat Foot Shifting.  1.38 bar (20psi) max boost at 3600rpm, 1.1 bar at redline. AFR at torque peak 12.2:1 and 11.8:1 redline.

Very nice, must be a GTI killer of note. Any idea what it makes at the flywheel or wheels?

Thanks.

Haven't been on a dyno yet.  Road dyno (software) figures are around 200kw and 400 NM at the wheels.

Awesome sleeper Jacques! Barring the slightly bigger scoop and tailpipe, your XT looks totally stock. I assume you go offroad with your Forester hence not wanting to lower it and put on coilovers?

I love your car

Love the Fozz sport/sti front bumper .I was gonna to this but fortunately Groenie disposed of his prodrive lip so I opted for the lip as it was alot more economically viable :) :)

Coilovers or just lowered springs has crossed my mind, but I like the stock ride height too much at this point.

Some updates on the money pit  ;D

A couple of months back I fitted Swift Sport Springs with new OEM KYB struts and top hats.  This also meant changing to the non self-leveling rear suspension.  Drop is not that much, but suspension is much firmer.

Before getting rid of the stock Geolanders, I thought I try some 0-100km/h runs on a private stretch of road.  Set out for a best of 3 tries as I don't like launching the XT.
First try was horrible because the launch control RPM limit was set at 5000 RPM which resulted in wheel spin for a couple of seconds and me going nowhere  ;D
Second run I messed up the change from 1st to 2nd.  Third run I decided to just feed in the clutch at about 3000 RPM which resulted in this:
