I reckon Sean or Sav's sleeper 20G/VF Fozzies could give a 135 a run for its money...perhaps we should send them down to go trawling around for that same driver...
Current: S-edition 2011 Steel Silver (S-exy young thing) - Forged, Chett tjooned, 76mm s/s wrapped DP, King Springs, 225/60/17 G012s, Sump & AT guards, cheap mud flaps, HID fogs, LED parks.

Yes, I think so too.

a VF based forester should do the trick, but you they need to be running hi-eish boost.  After 220kph - its game over if the speed limiter has not bee removed :D :D

Also keep the weight/power ratio in mind. Those 135i's only come in at 1.4tons, they are nimble and quick off the mark.

What does an average VF based Fozzie push out?

Had a run in with a Z4 between De Doorns and Worcester the other day.
Gained on him through the twisty bits, then we got stuck behind a truck. Overtaking I stuck with him upto 180, having to lift off a bit now and then.

Again I got whipped by a 135i. Why do I keep trying.
I so need a forged motor and a 1.2Bar boost.

On a lighter note I got tagged by a V50 Volvo T5 and creamed him on pull off and up to 120.

My Astra Coupe weighed only 1235kg. http://www.um.co.za/specifications/opel_astra_coupe_2_0_16v_turbo_%28leather%29_%282004%29.aspx

gave lots of big boys hidings in it after I had it at Evo Performance for some tinkering.

R65k for a good specimen. A major service + cambelt is only R7k. Parts are ridiculously cheap. The two most expensive things on the car are the turbo and gearbox, and they can be had for R12k and R9k, respectively. Plus the Getrag F23 box can take over 400Nm without breaking a sweat.

I'd get another one in a heartbeat.

I dont think you can find a good specimen. They all seem to be shagged. Big power potential.

Even the TS was a good car.
