Had a go at one sunday night, was trying to preserve my gearbox so I didnt launch hard and I had a bit of turbo lag in first. He pretty much left me standing there, in second and third when I got on the boost it looked like I was pretty much even with him but as soon as I changed gear he would gain a car length on me

Looks like harder gears and a forged build are next in the to do list.

This was with 1.3bar boost, two cans of octane booster. My car has 217wkw with a manual WRX gearbox.

4wdrift is there is reason why you add 2 can's of octane booster?

As far as I am aware obviously adding a can does boost the octane level
But it does also have a slightly negative effect in that it does slightly dilute the petrol

Does your tune actually need the 2 can's worth?

I've made the mistake of taking on a new SL65. :D

Also wondering about the 2 cans - how much timing are you running?
2007 XT Premium Sportshift (Decat, VF48 @ 1.2 bar, STi TMIC, Chett tjooned, BBK, coilovers, etc etc eish!)

May the Forester be with you...

I try to run one can, but if I have to fill up again with only a half empty tank I just use the whole bottle.

Storing half empty bottles in the car gives a bit of a smell and the chemicals give me high blood pressure. So there is no reason I run two bottles exept if it builds up like that over three or four tanks of fuel or half tanks.

The tune was done with one can on 50liters of petrol. Thus I would also rather run a bit more than a bit less on my 60 liter tank

The other day I challenged a C63 AMG, I could pull away faster than he could and was in front until I shifted into third, then I get left behind in a hurry. Pump fuel and 1.0 bar map.

I find aggressive pull away's with me getting into the boost before the clutch is released completely results in the front wheels spinning, afterwards I could smell the clutch/tires so I am not doing that again.
