I am a bit miffed that oil temp isn't working because it's one of the parameters I would like to monitor, especially on long trips far away from a Subaru specialist. Although I guess you can sort of tell what's going on with the oil temp by looking at the coolant temp.

Just FYI: there's also an "Engine kW (at the wheels)" display. Though it seems more like it's measuring crank kiloWatts because mine shows around 182kW at 6000RPM, and while I really want my software upgrade to give me 30kW extra at the wheels (up from 150), in all honesty I can't see how that would have happened with a DIY tune.

How accurate is the 'Engine kw'?

Is there anything I need to change in Torque settings to get a more accurate reading?

Joe,
Make sure the weigh of the car is correct as well as the gear ratios. It is somewhat accurate, I would say within 3%.

Your car's weight in the profile settings. Volumetric efficiency too, but good luck figuring out which value it's supposed to be (Hint: turbo engines have a VE greater than 100%).

I just logged a few runs and took an average for volumetric efficiency.
That turned out to be 75 %.

You need to fit an EGT sensor on the facelift SG9's for the exhaust temps to work. Same with the Oil Temp.

The pre facelift does have an EGT sensor.

Is the cabling for the sensors there so it's plug and play?
