Grill mod
So I bit the bullet and did the grill mod for my SG9. It's not very difficult to do but I recommend having some good files, lots of sandpaper (60 grit through to 320) and a Dremel. I also used a hack saw and some side cutters.
You'll need;
Body filler (I used the 2 part stuff)
Mesh (I got alu, big diamond)
Primer & Paint (I used Rustoleum, metallic midnight black. It's good stuff)
You can reuse the Subaru badge, but i decided to add something unique and made up a JDM "F" out of aluminium.
There are quite a few tutorials on how to do it so I won't go go into that. The pics speak for themselves and I am really happy with the result.

Re: Grill mod
Nice. I remember when I had my SG9, I just opened the bonnet to check how difficult it is to remove the grille. Within 1 minute I was standing with it in my hand.
The SH is a whole different story...

Re: Grill mod
You'll probably find on the SG9 half the clips for the grille are broken anyway.
Nice mod. Any particular reason for doing it?

Just for the look. I would like to get the Foz looking as close to the STI as I can. I gave up a beautiful Nogaro Blue S4 4.2 (cam chain service was due in 40k) for it so I need it to look as good as I can get it.
