My 2006 2.5 NA Outback needs a new radiator (my current OE-one is 10 years with >350 000km on it);
any ideas what to get/where I can get one?

That's good mileage from the radiator.

Why not get one from SSA?
Else there's probably the Mishimoto's that everyone talks about.

Try Rockauto......

Hi Gary,

My 2006 Outback also needs a new radiator - its starting to form the red-ish goop on the seams. 156 000kms

Spoke to Julian at PYRO and he advised to get a new OEM one from SSA. They have quoted R6330. Ouch.

What have you done about yours?

Thanks !
Devin

I heard a rumour that Silverton will remove the plastic tanks and weld up aluminium tanks in their place. For some reason the amount of R2500 comes to mind.

Not a rumour. They will make alu welded rads for less than the OEM. But I think it is closer to R4k. Worth a call

That R probably stands for RACING, because it goes like the clappers

My long-suffering (all our family's cars go there) motor mac sourced one locally);
couldn't find the same size, so got the turbo-specced radiator (same size, just thicker).
All & all < 4K fitted.
