So I have noticed a slight "click-click" when I get in the Fozzy in the mornings. Just left of the front wheel it seems to come from. I'd imagine I'm in need of replacement bushes for all the front suspension and so forth.

Any knowledge on what needs replacing and an estimate on costs for the spares will be appreciated.

Have a look at the strut tower bolts (where the shock meets the body) Make sure they are tight.

You can also look at the front swaybar and the mountings. Chances are its one of those two.

Check where the ASB link connects to the lower control arm. My bracket was torn a while back, and that made a funny noise.

I still have a click-click sound.

Drives me insane but I'm thinking it might be tappets. Even though nothing was done when I did HG's.

It's not the drive train.

Tappets is quite a "fine" sound. A bit "harder" than an old sewing machine.(naaimasjien)
Suspension is totally different.

Tappets change with rpm,and are normally only noisy on startup......
Suspension doesn't change with rpm.

My 'click-click' is in the morning when I get in. No engine running. And no sound from the suspion when driving. Just the sound as I get in.

Toffie, I assume you check the seat? Maybe a plastic slider has come loose. Had that before. Seat cussion spring?

The door "holder" is a plastic slider. That can make a click-click sound just as the door starts to move when partially open.

Don't know what car you have. Do the newer models have self adjusting seats?

It is not inside. It is left of the front wheel, the click is there as my left leg starts to put weight on the car. Then it is gone as the suspension settles.

Anyways, I'll jack it up and confirm what makes the sound.

I didn't check yet - had to get up at 3:30 to get my kids in Klerksdorp for rugby kick-off @ 07:00 (almost forgot) and was in the mood for bugger all on Sunday. I'll check it out Wednesday morning.
