Thought I would post this since I could not find any solid info on this for the SH Forester XS (MY 09-13).
There is so much info on the previous SG generation and so little on the SH that I started to wonder if the SH is considered to be a Forester...?

Anyway, I replaced my rear SH Forester XS (MY 09-13) self levelling shocks and coils with the "standard" shocks and coils (as found on the "X" model).
Part numbers:
Shocks: 20365SC051
Coils: 20380SC000

The ride is MUCH better, no more saggy, rocking, spongy butt...! :-)
As usual Wayne Hay who did the work was outstanding.

All prices from Subaru SA:
The SLS shock is approx. R4400 incl VAT (each) - I have the Subaru quote down in the car if you need the exact figure.

The normal shock is R1039 incl VAT (each)
The normal coil is R884 incl VAT (each)
So the total parts were R3846.
Compared to R8800 for replacing just the SLS shocks.

The coil springs must be replaced if you change from SLS shock to normal since the SLS coil is not the same as the "normal" coil (obviously not required if you just replace your existing SLS shocks).

Thanks Wiley
A big difference between the normal and SLS setup.

We live on a plot.
There is about 2 km of dirt road to our house.
Foz has 105 000 km's on it.
And here I thought it was the guys doing regular dirt road trips that were having problems with the SLS.
Bit of a kak design.

I take it you can get it replaced by TWT or HiQ?

Recently had the suspension done on my 2010 Forester XT SportShift.
Thought I would post the invoice so people can see how much it costs at Subaru.
This was in November 2016 at Subaru Centurion.

I know it's been a while since the post, but did you buy these from Subaru?

I replaced my self leveling with non leveling at 20 000 km. Was much better but still somewhat "floaty".
Full set of Pedders solved the problem.

Wynandd, look at the invoice I have attached about 3 posts back.

It is for the rear X suspension on a 2010 XT Sportshift.

So far, no saggy butt, but it hasn't had a really heavy load yet, only grocery shopping  ;D

Subaru Centurion is quite familiar with people swapping out the SLS for X suspension.

Thanks Manfred, could you perhaps assist with a VIN no for an X?

No sir, these people do not even talk to you, without a VIN no! Your invoice does not show part numbers and I gave them the number that appears there, but as usual the system does not understand "computer says, NO"!

Do you perhaps have the part number of the X- springs?
