Howsit guys,

I need some assistance from someone that has a facelift SG, which uses the H1 globes.  When I bought my car in 2012 I fitted an aftermarket HID kit with ballasts.  In order to fit it, the spade on the ground wire had to be cut off and the fitting in the Osram kit used.  Now 4 years later I want to fit normal halogen bulbs again, but for the life of me I cannot remember where to ground the globes.  The globes only have one connector (presumably live), but now I need to ground the unit.  I basically just need a photo of the two connections so that I can recommission my lights.

Thanks in advance.

Standard H1 globe with only one spade

Globe fitted, live wire with connector visible, but no place to fit ground.

Hi divan,
The peuter housing should have a ground connector on it.
Bottom pic: what's that "lip" above the red wire?

Hi Bernd,

Thank you for your reply.  I have removed the peuter housing but no such luck.  If all else fails I will probably just fit a round lug to the ground wire and secure it to the housing with one of the screws.

I think that lip is the attachment point for the cover that sits in front of the globe in the housing, but I will just check it again tonight.
