Thanks Steve

I got a set of front disks from Hanno.
Need to get some pads for the XT.
Tried Bendix on the Fiesta, soooooo much brake dust.
Will give Ferodo a try on the XT.

What Ferodo's are they.
Last time I bought Ferodo was for my Conquest, I think Ceramic was the best at the time.

I put Ferodo's on at the front around 35k km ago. Can really not complain at all, feels just like the OEM's to me.

I've got those on mine (front and back) and must admit that I'm really happy. They bite better than stock and give better feel. They don't have any problem setting the ABS off.

Can anyone assist me perhaps with the dimensions of the OEM front disc pads? I fitted Ferodo pads a year ago and it seems the braking surface on the front is around an inch less, than the pads that were on the car! Needless to say, those Ferodos are now moertoe...after a year and less than 20K km...

I'm afraid this info is not correct, relating to the SH Forester pads. I went on a wild goose chase to find FDB1327 front pads for my SH. After many weeks of arguing with parts people regarding the "correct" pads for my car, as the Ferodo book shows a FDB1639, I managed to track down a set, at Autozone, Kempton Park. With pads in hand, I took my car to Graaff brakes, for a skim and fit. To my dismay, the lugs supposed to fit into the caliper, are too big and does not fit. Luckily Graaff had a set of imported pads they bring in, which fits my car. Had to return the Ferodo set for credit, with a sheepish grin... Anyone looking for excellent service on your brakes, I can recommend Graaff Brakes, Kempton Park. Great guys and excellent prices!
