How do they even survive? They've got about 10 dealerships in SA and here are the sales figures for July 2016:

SUBARU Forester 63
SUBARU Outback 12
SUBARU WRX 2
SUBARU XV 13

TOTAL:90

Not competitors but to put it into perspective, 99 Porsches were sold the same period.
Subaru is just a small step above Fiat/Alfa in terms of sales.

They survive with HUGE margins. The STI jumped 120k in a year.
Jeep Commander CRD - GDE Hot Tune
ex Prodrive Xt, X, XT, WRX STI, Outback 3.0R

But it's a Ford?
Yep, which means they've got a decent sized nationwide dealer network and parts availability. It's like magic but better.  8)

Price increase of 120k on the STI in a year. I understand the import costs involved, but now that the ZAR has stabilised... I dont see it coming down.

Ek gaan my outback trade... hulle beter my BOEK gee :D :D :D

prys het wel nou bietjie ge-stabillize, maar Subaru moet betaal voor die karre kom. hulle bestel 4 maande vooruit.....so werk dit terug, pryse stabiliseer, import duties raak net erger en ho
