Had some time to kill so did a quick cleanup of the Pro-Drive Tail pipe.
Plan was to give it a quick wash, then polish with a machine but there are weld splatters all over which would have ripped my pads apart.

Some carbon build up

After Just a wipe with wet cloth.

Then some more intense all purpose cleaner

followed with more all purpose cleaner and steel wool

Due to light had to move indoors and didnt take more pics.
I will post those tomorrow, but still lots to clean.

Managed to complete the cleanup.
Rustoleum on all the "rust prone" parts such as hangers and a piece in the exhaust.
Here was a weld spot that didnt look so great, due to it being concave it was difficult to tape off.

Then some washing with Steel wool and brushes

I don't believe I ever had soooo much time to kill to tackle a task like that.

Well done.

Looking good.

That spot on the top of the "tip" is for the cross bar of the towbar. My previous PD exhaust had the same.

Hows the car coming along?
