I have been hunting for replacement suspension. I have mainly focused on the rear with the idea of same ride height or lift.
Without the below codes it would have been impossible to get quotes. Some companies refused point blank to even bother quoting.

From Steves post with additional data: http://foresterforum.co.za/index.php/topic,2543.0.html

Rear Shock Part Numbers

Monroe:
72445ST - right back
72446ST - left back

KYB:
334344 - right back
334345 - left back

Gabriel:
G56835 - Right Rear
G56834 - Left Rear

KYB rear coil:
RC6431

Quoted in Feb 2017

OEM - ?
KYB - R1350 Midas
Monroe - R 1800 fitted per side
Gabriel - ?
Koni - R3625 (They send shocks to JHB to have internal refitted)
Sachs - R2190

Coil Springs - R803.43 per side (Subaru Only)
ironman4x4 - ? - They have had many returned so stopped bringing them in. You can get but if it doesn't work, that's your problem.
LT coilovers R12500 for set.

I will update as I get more info in this week.

Interesting point about the Ironman equipment. Is that for whole units or just springs?

I had Ironman springs on my prev Foz, was very happy with them. If I could get two for what I paid then +20% I would sign now.

Think it was 35 mm lift and 25% stiffer for load carrying.

They are HD springs, so you will have overall less vehicle sag and much better damping.

It all depends who you speak to at these parts stores, and how they feel that day.

had the same thing, phoned and visited 4 different branches of midas and autozone and got different answers at each one.
ended up going with pedders as they were the only ones that could give me proper answers and support.
