Good day to all,
this post serves more to get input into the possible asking price for my car. Reason for wanting to sell is long and boring so I'll leave that there.

Maroon XT manual (MY07)
278000 km, partial service history, all with agents
De catted with a 75mm dia pipe and new boxes - VERY nice on the ears
Chett tuned after decat
Probably 2-3 mm threat left on ave on all tyres
Rear shocks and SLS replaced with original coils and non-SLS units
Radiator replaced with metal units.
Black cloth interior
Everything original and working 100%
Minor scratches as expected from a car with this mileage.
I am the second owner

What would be a good, realistic price to put onto her?

Many thanks for the advice

If you can get over R70k, you would be doing well. Personally If I was in the market, I'd have a figure around 60k if I had to make an offer.

These cars loose a significant amount of value after 200k and then 50k above that as the next buyer needs to look at the big service himself again. If you can keep it, do so, its worth more that way.

Thanks Stev0 for the input. I might have to end up trying to make other plans if it means that I will have to "give it away" at less than that:(

Guess I'll try for R65k with some room for negotiation then...sigh

It remains sad to have to sell a car that has treated me so well over the last 5 years or so.

Thanks

You should Start @ R90k, then minus any cost of work that needs to be done in the next 10000km, e.g tires, shocks, service and scratches. I would be surprised if you dont get R80k for that car.

Did you manage to sell the car? Very curious to see how much you got for it.
