Hello,

I have been struggling to find some local fruit wood pellets for smoking.  It seems very popular in the States, but not discussed much in SA.
I have been buying that oak shavings at the local checkers and those Weber wood chips, but want to test actual smoking wood pellets.
Anyone seen anything?

I think I have seen Hickory at Builders Warehouse but it was VERY expensive.
Apple should be easy to get as the farmers prune back their trees aggressively so there are branches lying around

they are expensive, they have loads of different flavours, I usually just chop up some dried apple tree branches or even the weber chips and soak them in a water/apple juice mix for about 15 min
