So we decided to hit the road on Saturday morning.
With the cold front on its way we thought well, lets take the change and go all the way to Sutherland and be there before the Storm. Packed the bags and on the road we went.

One thing we learned that in winter Sutherland has 0 accommodation. Everything booked out. We found a farm guest house 92km past Sutherland that had space. To our suprize the 92km was a gravel road. Really made up for the boring N1. Had a blast of a drive. Next morning the lady of the farm told us there is snow in Sutherland. . So we hit the 92km gravel road again. About half way in it started snowing. And by the time we got to Sutherland we had to wait for the pass to open due to to much snow. This was by far the best trip we had in the Foz. The handling and performance on snowy gravel roads where just remarkable.

Was definitely a trip to remember.

And some say Subaru is wasted in South Africa because we don't get snow.
