Hi Guys

I am rather shattered as a financial deal that was supposed to come through late in August has just been cancelled, and that means that I am sadly going to have to sell my 2.5 X that I bought last month.

She is very clean - brand new tyres all round, plus I  had  a full service just over 1000 km ago. ( Mileage is just on 155 000)

I am hoping to get between 85 and 90 k - does anyone know of any possible takers?

I am in Glencairn zero eight three double four one, six on double two.

Cheers

Paul

Just as a point of reference, the retail for 2006 X was R92k three and a half years ago. And these cars don't easily go for retail with private sales.

I'm not sure what you paid, but just want to throw some realism out there. Hopefully I'm wrong...

Hi there - I understand that, but I've been following them closely down here for a couple of months and they are still fetching that sort of number, particularly low mileage ones.

Fetching or asking? I could ask R300k for my XT but it wouldn't mean anything other than I've lost my mind.

Sold my 2008 X (SG) beginning of last year for R100,000 and it had around 120,000 km on. Just to give you an idea.

Hi Sav

We still see big values on those models, this year I have retailed a few just over R 100 000, of course we are a dealer, but if the car is clean the people will pay for them. They sell way better than the SH models. I do get your point though.
