120'000 km and 5 years sounds like a bit of pre-mature failure.
Maybe the liftkit on the Africa Edition is to blame?

Hi @PietSkiet

I had my front outer CV's replaced on my 2004 Fozzie XS (see http://foresterforum.co.za/index.php/topic,3381.msg35657.html#msg35657), by Auto Station in Belville, CT. Manufactured by SAJCO.

Really good price, good service.

Good luck ;-)

Awesome, thanks! FozzDrivers 'little black book' is brilliant!
And yet when I went to SAJCO up in JHB they could not help me? Odd.

We are drawing a blank trying to service these things. Got one more crack at it on Monday and then I give up and order off Rock Auto.

Pls let me know how it goes...
Ok. So success.
Fixed and repaired SG and SH sideshafts.
Will try and get the details from Wayne Hay.
The ship is in Booysens .

I will still give Subaru the opportunity by telling them you either make a plan and get R8000 or R0 by forcing me to go somewhere else if you cannot help.
Not to be funny, but I don't think they've more than doubled the price to get to R18k just because they felt like it. They're a business and doing things at a loss is not really good business obviously.

Hope you get sorted though, an oke I know got his Impreza's sideshafts refurbished by CV Masters.

Send them up to Wayne Hay.
He got 2 sets redone for Foresters this week for under R2k per side.
