Hi Guys.

My TD04 gave up on me...

So im thinking of going STI turbo. Not sure about the codes and what will fit.

But i think im looking for either VF43 or VF48

And sti injectors.

Any leads will be great thanks.
I have about 3weeks otherwise i must look into rebuilding the TD04

Justin, what car have you got?
Most guys do not need to get bigger injectors with a VF. You better off with spending the money on an Intercooler rather.
Where are you based?

That. I'm on vf48 with stock injectors and they're fine. If you're really worried, you can pull them and get them flow tested (but it's a pita) then ask your tuner whether you need to upgrade (doubt you'll have to).

Justin has same prefacelift SG XT like me.  it uses sidefeed injectors.
It comes with tiny injectors, maybe 380cc or 420cc max.
STI side feeds were last use by Blob / Bug STI?  Those were 2.0L so unlikely a upgrade to our existing 2.5 XT side feeds...

Unlike facelift SG XT which has larger top feed injectors.
I hit 100% IDC at high rpm when i upgraded to a VF43.
Had to fork out plenty $ to get Deatschwerks sidefeeds as they seemed to be only upgrades available, they have 740cc, 850cc, etc.

Top feeds much more readily available and cheaper.
Unsure costs of a conversion to top feed setup.
