Hi Taze,
Dont know the road to Pomena but Foresters are a jol on sand. They do not like BIG rocks but I did the Suurberg/Zuurberg pass this week as well as the Baviaans both ways.

Thanks guys.
I am really excited to do the trip. A little nervous, since it will be my first time on beach sand ;D
I have read as much as i can on tire pressure and as many tips as i can find. So it should be good.

welcome, don't stress about the sand, the Forester makes it really easy.

when we went to Atlantis Sand Dunes I would only deflate once I feel it was really needed.  :o There was only 1 time that i can remember that I went the entire day only deflating to 1.7bar, and that was to climb a big dune, rest of the time I was running on 2.3bar and had no problems.... ;D

Enjoy the trip and have faith in what the car can do. Remember tyre pressure and momentum.
