Hi everyone

Garrsie is helping me sort out the terrible headlights (thanks Doug).

My next pet peeve is the drivers seat. Particularly how flat it is.

245 000km of mixed use driving with an 80kg person occupying the seat has resulted in a seat that has lost almost all of its padding. The passenger seat feels fantastic, especially on long journeys, but the drivers seat has a tendency to result in a squashed backside sensation.

Has anyone tried getting the seat foam replaced/reupholstered? I shudder to think what the cost of a new seat from Subaru is.

The seat is for the 2007 SG base model, beige cloth. All of the cushioned parts, if possible

Thanks,
Kean

Hi Kean

A decent auto trimmer should be able to sort the seat for you. But, yes a uncomfortable seat can be "a pain in the butt".

Thanks Dene.

Trying to find a place on the West Rand, and i came across MC Auto Trimmers. Has anyone had experience dealing with them? They've only got 3.5 stars from google reviews, but people are more likely to complain about bad work than praise good work
