Hi all.
I've been registered on the forum for a while but only recently had the cash to start looking for my first 2nd hand forester.

I've seen a few affordable 04 / 05 forester XT's, obviously with 250 000 + kms.

Could someone point me to some of the things I should be looking at?
I'm aware of the 100k services and I've seen a few that seem to have had overheating problems.
I realise that most of this is probably in some of the other threads, so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on maintenance of the vehicle but it will be rubbers that are perished or starting to perish. You wont know until a few km after ownership.
Fuel pumps can start showing age as well as many of the hoses in engine bay.
I am not aware of any electrical issue that you will need to be concerned with.

Once again, depending on ownership at any age a good fluids change would be a good idea Diff, gearbox, engine oil, coolant.
