So I just read 2 articles on Carmag.co.za, and the report that the Impreza failed to sell a single unit both in May and June 2019.

Looking at Subaru SA's website, it seems like the price difference between the entry-level Impreza and XV is about R20'000 and the diffrence between the top spec of the 2 models is also R20'000

If you were even remotely considering a new Impreza, for R20K more (which is about 5% difference) the XV is a no brainer...

There's also the fact that the Impreza has zero advertising spent on it - people are simply forgetting that it's available. A great pity!
