Hi Guys

I am new to the forum and would greatly appreciate your feedback.
I have taken ownership of a Subaru Forester 2.5 XS Premium CVT 2014, which has 16inch Rims with 215/70 R16 Geolanders on which are noisy as hell!
I have seen that the 2014 originally came out with 17's, so the 16's must not be stock, although are Subaru rims.
Is it worth trying to source Subaru 17' rims and then sell the 16's or should i just get new 16' tyres?

Thanks guys!

Where do you plan on going with the car?

I went down in size from 17s to 16s for several reasons:
Better deflation for sand
A higher sidewall gives more comfort on gravel
16s are quite a bit cheaper than 17s
More tyre options available in 16

Ive found that the G015s are pretty quiet on tar and give good predictable grip. On gravel they excel.

Hi Stefmau

it will be more for tar and little bit gravel for now.
So there will be no real advantage of increasing tyre size, then i'll stick with the 16's
Thanks for your input!

If it is G015 Geolanders it is 50% off road tyres that may be a little louder. But there are other 50% tyres that are supposedly even louder.
