Good day
Newbie Forester owner, I need some advice on which is the correct fuel hose for Subaru. I have a fuel leak from the fuel hose below the inlet turbo pipe. it has been replace twice already, but it still leak on cold start, on the engine is warm the leaking stops.
I have now replaced it again with fuel hose from Hose Solutions 300PSI, still leaking on cold start. I have changed the clamps, they are all tight, but no luck.
Can anyone advise if the fuel hose needs to be OEM, bought from Subaru?
thank you
Chad

could be a few reasons
Pipe might not be able to handle the pressure
The fuel system can create high pressure

Generally start with braided fuel hose and then make sure you the place it attached is not damaged and that the clamps can apply enough pressure

Are you sure it's the hose, and not a fitting leaking?
Any braided will handle the pressure, but not maybe the heat. Therefore they will rather leak when hot, not cold. A fitting could seal itself when hot. (some clever guy realized metals(most materials actually) expand when heating up, many moons ago :D)
