With regards to the car being slow......
I have the XT in SA and the XV over here in Saudi is really not that bad.
Yes it is not a 200kph adrenaline rocket, but that gearbox is just an absolute pleasure to use in the daily drive!
I catch myself every now and then with this weird grin on my face!!!!

I agree - I just wish that people would realise that it was never meant to perform like a WRX or an XT - it's a bloody nice daily commute that is more than capable if you head off road. It's capable of cruising all day between 120 and 140, so why you would want any more "performance" than that completely escapes me

These cars just get better and better! :D

I'm loving it - the CVT has been tweaked since my first one and this one "feels" very much quicker on pull off. It really responds to a light throttle pull off  - mash your foot down on the accelerator and nothing happens - light throttle and she flies.

Consumption is great - long term average (2800 km) is currently 7.4 l/100..............

Cool!
Also found that the comparative torque at low throttle is better.
The best effect i've had was slowly increasing throttle from pullaway to about 60-70%, then just keep it there.
Accelleration just keeps going and going.
For a bit of nipy driving in the city, i play with the paddle shift alot.

Great! That's exactly the way to drive it.
