Hi
I have played around with suspension options a bit.
Started of by custom made coils then KYB and new Subaru coils ended up with BC Racing coilovers on my SF offroader (500K KM)
For road use on SG Get KYB Shocks and X coils (Have just ordered again for customer shock R1300 COILS R1000) x2 for rear.
Front I will only do the shocks R1300 each
I do a lot of dune and sandy offroad tracks. BC Racing with 30mm lift give me 260mm ground clearance with 215/75/15 M T Tyres.
Can do 50-60km/h in the sandy tracks if I ignore the possibility of on coming traffic.
Before with standard suspension max 30km/h.
On normal gravel 130km possible (stones flying everywhere) I have done 100k km plus with BC`S Still no problems.
If you do a lot of twisty stuff( rutts and dongas) stay whith KYB  and X coils. More Travel.
On tar the BC`S is king. Make them MT Tyres slide around the bends NO Body roll.
