Hey,

I have a 2012 2.5 XS A/T Africa 20 Edition with FSH (dealer) and just shy of 50 000kms on clock; what would be realistic expectation here?

This version has slightly higher ground clearance and also fitted with nudge bar, rock sliders, fog lamps and different mags.

Thoughts?

I'm looking around and for all the popularity of the late SG9, the trade-in prices on offer is insulting to say the least.

According to the magic, but useless, little book:

Trade - R122000
Retail - R135000

Hi,

I've got a 2013 SJ 2.0X. Has 72 000km, FSH with dealers in Durbs, Added a towbar  but thats it. I had a ridiculous offer of R170 000 from webuycars.co.za!

any ideas what I could for it?  I'm expecting R 220 -230 000, don't really want to get rid of it but the family has grown so I need a bus.

See if you can trade it instead. The H1 Hyundai is a very good bus.

Trade it on another scoobie. Subaru seems to be getting the same resale as the Alfas and Volvos.

Makes them bargains in the second hand market.

Show me another car that you can buy for 80k that gives you as much value for money as the Sg9.

Thanks! decided to stick with her for now! I enjoy my car too much to let her go for nothing.

And to think in the USA Subaru is the brand with the highest secondhand value.
