Now is probably a good time to upgrade to H1 bi-xenon projectors while the lights are open. They're so much better than the useless stock things.

Hi all. My 2008 forester (frameless window model) is getting moisture inside the left front headlight fitting. Anyone know why or how this could be happening and what can be done about it? This is a recent thing. Headlight not cracked or broken and seals all look ok to me. Light works fine on park, dim and bright. Thanks.

Hi

In which area are you? I wouldn't even bother with DIY, just pay FozzieDriver to fix it for you and save the hassle and frustration.

No Sav, was the second battery already.
I think it's on it's way out.
Struggles when starting.
Even after a full charge.

Ah, okay. Those Panasonic batteries are really horrible things. I've switched to Varta Blue but they've also become ridiculously expensive now, so it's back to Sabat and it seems to be working just fine.

Leave a light on and ours is dead the next morning.

Use the charger and it's working again.

Wife and kid forget about the lights.

Not very good for the battery, so I'm expecting it to die within the next few months.
OEM Panasonic battery?

Haha! Apparently some of the bearings and things are now made in China.

Ok. Glad to see you have recovered from your fanny wobble the other day.

LOL. Just watch the 193x video, it explains it in a way that even those who think they know will understand.

And some further reading:

But hey, if you feel that you're too clever and know better it's fine, just remember that 4 tyres are cheaper than a transmission rebuild.

Yep that is true, there is a very old video on YouTube explaining it nicely.
We are talking center diff though.

No. I need to have spacers made to fit between the brake shoes and the linings.
Been busy with other stuff.
Cool, definitely more effort than its worth.

And the moment you turn your steering wheel there is a difference between the left and right wheels as well.
How do tyres change size when turning the steering wheel?
